I purchased at a flower shop in Honolulu. Its around 6″ tall with fuzzy leaves, orange and yellow flowers. Each flower has 5 petals with small green petals behind them.
Is this ok to be kept indoors?
Hi John, I’m pretty sure that in Hawaii you would be perfectly safe to grow almost any plants outside – if you want to grow succulent plants indoors, their main requirement is bright light, and no overwatering.
This little guy seems to be some kind of Echeveria, but those flowers look enormous in comparison to the plant.
You can see more about Echeveria and how to grow them here. For general succulent care see this page.
Hope that helps with your lovely plant,
Jacki
