I would love to know if variegated string of turtles exist? And if so, are they albo? Or pink and white?

Peperomia prostrata
by: Jacki Cammidge, Certified Horticulturist

Peperomia prostrata is the String of Turtles plant, which looks very like tiny turtle shells strung on a red stem. There apparently is such a thing as a variegated form, but unfortunately, it’s just got white spotty bits on the leaves, no pink.

In the future, a variegated form may get more common, which is what seems to happen as people start to want one with variegation.

This little guy looks a lot like Hearts Entangled, or Ceropegia woodii, which when I first grew it, was only available in the green form, but I see now that there is a variegated form.

Keep looking!
