Beautiful ground covering plant – low growing – wide spreading
I took a piece of this ground covering plant which didn’t grow well in the container I found it in.
I placed in in my succulent container with new soil last year and it started spreading out like crazy very light green.
I moved the plant to cover the ground underneath my bird bath which is placed in a shaded area (about a month or two ago) I can just say WOW its dark green and started showing off it’s flowers. I think its very happy there.
Do you know anything about this plant?
Thank you

New to me!

I don’t recognize this little cutie, at all. It doesn’t really look succulent, but it’s obviously really tough and resilient.
These kinds of plants are commonly received as ‘bonus’ plants in a purchase, and sometimes they become a noxious weed, or a pest.
Hopefully this one doesn’t get too rampant and take over. I’ve had a few ‘ground covers’ that do that. Keep an eye on it!

It is a Myoporum, native to New Zealand and Oz. White flowers, lovely when it spreads out and fills your planted area.
