xwhat type echeveria is this 21245505

Im pretty sure this is an Echeveria species, just from what I’ve been able to research online so far. I bought it a few days ago and the soil was pretty dry, one of the lower leaves was shriveled up but not ready to fall off yet, after giving it lots of water the shriveled leaf did come off.

It is about 6″ not including the tall sprigs on the top and and 7″ wide it seems to be growing like a weird tree. It is light purple and green with purplish powder covering it. I chose it because it reminds me of Avatar! lol

It does look like a science fiction tree!

As to it’s identity, it looks like you have an Echeveria ‘A Grimm One’. I coincidentally just found a picture on the Oregon Cactus Blog which looks very like it.

If you want, you can make separate plants out of each of the rosettes by removing them with a sharp knife, letting them dry out, then pot them into dry potting soil. Don’t over water it, now that it’s had a good drink, as they really prefer to be quite dry.
