I love using found items to plant. This is an old tin memo/letter holder that I spray painted it blue and planted a mix of Sedum ‘Tri-Color’, sempervivum, echiveria and campanula.
I spray painted an Ortega chili can orange and attached strings of sea shells to hang it from the blue memo container. They are all drought tolerant plants, this little hanging planter is very easy to keep happy.

Wow, I thought the mop bucket was cute (Grazing Through the Garden) but this is a great way to use these little worn out gizmos – does anyone actually still use them for bills and letters?
