I asked an employee at a local garden store and she told me this was some type of succulant. Can someone help me identify it please. I want to buy some but can’t find any other than this one and can’t get access to this one to get a clip of it.

Kalanchoe

There are many plants that go by the name ‘succulent’ because that’s just a descriptive term.
This particular one is in the Kalanchoe genus, but I’m sorry I can’t tell you the exact species because it’s not clear in the picture.
I can tell you the genus because this is a typical characteristic; the baby plants are often produced lining the edges of the leaves. You can see more different ones here; Kalanchoe species – and one of the one I get asked about a lot is here; Kalanchoe daigremontiana.

Donkey ears

I have seen that type called donkey ears. It is a type of succulent out of Africa if I remember correctly.

I have identified this succulent as Kalanchoe Gastonis aka Donkey Ear. I have one finally and it is thriving. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT and it’s babies 😉
