Hello! I just got back from my vacation in Spain.
There was a beautiful plant in my rented apartment. The leaves look like flowers to me, and it is very different. I ‘stole’ two of them, and i am trying to find out what they are. I cant find it anywhere on line, and maybe you know what it is.
I took this photo last year, and the small pic just now.
I dont have any picture of a plant with the flower. There was one there this year, but all dried out.

Wow, Julie, thanks for your comment. I can’t grow it outdoors in my area, with intense winter cold, but good to know it can withstand some frost.

This will grow in frost zones as well as drought

I live in south east south Australia, we get a lot of frost from mid autumn to mid Spring & Aeonium ‘Velour’ thrives all year round 🙂

This is one plant that is often grown in places with warm summers and frost free winters and it is native to Tenerife.
