Hi there

i just bought what I think is a specie of aloe vera to put in my tortoise (horsefield) enclosure and want to be double sure it is aloe.

Please can you confirm?

This does appear to be Aloe, but not Aloe vera. It more closely resembles the one called ‘Black Gem’. I know nothing about tortoise diet, so I can’t comment on whether this is a good choice or not.
